Reflexology and Cancer

I have a long standing special interest in supporting people during their cancer treatments. Small research studies in the use of reflexology treatments for cancer patients have suggested that it may help relieve nausea, pain, lymphedema, promote better sleep and soothe a body that is struggling to relax due to the necessary doses of steroids. Certainly my patients’ feedback would support these findings.

I have been lucky enough to foster links with two fantastic cancer focussed charities, Maggie’s and Breast Cancer Care. A real highlight and honour was spending a day as the backstage therapist for all of the fabulous models at Breast Cancer Care’s London fashion show in 2016.

A reflexology treatment is a welcome antidote to the emotional impact of so many hospital visits and the tiring nature of the hospital environment. My treatments are all about helping you to recover your sense of self, your inner strength, and giving you some Tender Loving Care in a restful relaxing environment.
